COMMUNICATION:  We want to make sure that all of our patients are able to read and understand the information we provide. If you find it hard to read our letters or need someone to support you during appointments please let us know.  We want to know if you need information in braille, large print or audio format, or if you need an interpreter or need any other communication tools.  Please contact the surgery reception for help or advice.

CARE QUALITY COMMISSION - The surgery was inspected in 2016 by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).  We are pleased to announce that the surgery has been given a GOOD rating with OUTSTANDING for care of our elderly patients.  To view our report please click on number 4. SMS Test Messaging - We are now reminding patients of their appointment via text message.  Please ensure we have your correct mobile number by contacting the Reception Team.

 

Repeat Prescription Service

greepillsPlease allow 2 full working days (not including weekends of bank holidays) between ordering and collecting repeat prescriptions.

PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT ACCEPT REPEAT PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS OVER THE TELEPHONE. 

If your long-term medication has been approved on a repeat prescription basis you can place orders in a number of ways:

  • In person - use the right hand side of your previous prescription and mark the items you require, or complete one of the slips in the waiting room.  There is a letter-box at Reception for these slips.
  • By post - send it to us and address your letter to ‘Repeat Prescriptions’ at the practice address.
  • By fax -on 01929 472098
  • Online - follow the link at the top of this page.  You will need to register for this service via Reception, please bring some form of photo ID with you.  If you are unable to provide photo ID please speak to Rception.
  • Via your Pharmacist - if you go to the same pharmacist all the time, he or she will be able to order your medication for you.

If you require urgent medication please ring reception during surgery hours. The dispenser will speak to the duty doctor on your behalf to arrange for your medication to be dispensed as soon as possible.

If you have a query regarding your medication please telephone between 9.00am - 12.00 midday so that your query can be actioned the same day.  Queries received after midday will be carried forward to the following day.

If the surgery is closed, please ring the out of hours service on 111 who will advise you about your medication.

THE DISPENSARY IS CLOSED BETWEEN 12.30 - 2.30PM EVERY DAY, EXCEPT WEDNESDAY WHEN IT IS OPEN 8.30- - 4.00PM
