Many people are exempt from these charges, for example those over age 60 and those under 16 years (18 or under if in full time education) and people in receipt of certain benefits.  If you think that you are exempt please let our dispensary staff know when you collect and they can advise.

The cost of a prescription pre payment certificate (PCC) will remain at £29.10 for a three month certificate and the cost of an annual certificate will remain at £104.00 until 2016.

PCCs offer savings for those needing four or more items a month or 13 or more items in a year.
