GENERAL APPOINTMENT INFORMATION

Appointments are available with the Doctors, Practice Nurses, Health Visitor, Midwife, Community Nurses, Practice Manager, Citizens Advice Bureau Advisor and Social Worker Liason by direct request to Reception.

Other consultations eg. with Chiropodist and Counsellor require referral by another health care professional.

Appointments with a Doctor in the surgery are scheduled at 10 minute intervals. Please inform our staff if this time will clearly be inadequate and you will be scheduled a longer appointment.

Please note, appointments are for one issue only if you have more than one problem to discuss please advise the receptionist when booking the appointment.

Urgent Appointments (GP Telephone Assessments)

Please telephone the surgery between 8.30am – 9.00am if you require an urgent same day appointment.  The GP will call you back, please be prepared to discuss your request with the GP on call who will provide advice or arrange the most appropriate appointment for you.

Telephone Appointments

Telephone Consultations with the Doctors are available at certain times and can be booked via Reception.

Extended Surgeries

Improving Patient Access

We understand that some patients find it difficult to access GP appointments during normal surgery hours so offer extended hours appointments on:

Monday:  7.30am & 7.45am Dr Jackson

Tuesday: 7.30am & 7.45am Dr Benazon

Friday:  7.30am & 7.45am Dr Jackson

These appointments are bookable in advance.

We also have early appointments with our Health Care Assistant on

Tuesday:  7.30, 07.45 & 08.00 am  

Friday:  7.30, 07.45 & 08.00 am  

The surgery will only be open during these times for patients who have booked appointments, not for the collection of prescriptions, test results, booking further appointments, general enquiries etc.
