2024/25 FLU SEASON  The vaccination programme starts later this year than in previous years. Pregnant ladies will be invited to have their vaccination in September. All other age groups can be vaccinated from 3rd October. Our flu clinic at the Scout Hut in Bere Regis will be on Saturday 19th October. Please put the date in your diary if you are eligible for this vaccine!  We will advise you when we are taking bookings for our clinics.

Travel Vaccinations

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you will need to make a 10 minute appointment with Debbie Goodworth, our Practice Nurse, for a travel assessment to determine which vaccinations you require. You may not receive your vaccinations at this appointment as not all vaccines are held in stock and therefore have to be ordered as required. It is advisable to make your assessment appointment at least 8 weeks prior to your departure date.  Some diseases require a course of vaccinations which necessitate more than one appointment with the practice nurse.

Most travel vaccinations are not supplied via the NHS.  If the nurse has assessed that you require any vaccinations for which there is a charge you will be asked to pay for your vaccines in full.  Payment can be made in the form of either cash or card.
